As a group of investing Realtors, we understand the importance of making the right real estate purchase decisions.

We surround ourselves with people in the field who, like us, believe that this isn't just "business"; it's guiding people through one of the most important decisions they'll make and we all want to make sure you get it right every step of the way. So, who is the Tate Investments Team?

Jimmy Tate 
Investing in Real Estate was simply the beginning of an exciting career change for Jimmy. After 11 years with The Walt Disney Company working in Organizational Development and Total Quality Management, Jimmy decided to focus full-time on his real passion: serving people by making complicated real estate decisions simplified.

Jimmy has been exposed to the "art" of real estate investing since he was a child. Both of Jimmy's parents are real estate developers… his father the analyst, his mother with the discerning eye; together, a team of successful investors for over 30 years. Jimmy "inherited" the skill for both and naturally navigates through the most complicated real estate ventures with seamless capability.

A graduate of Northeastern State University in Oklahoma, Jimmy holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology. As President and Founding Chapter Member of his fraternity, Kappa Sigma, and Co-founder and Director of the NSU Volunteer Center, entrepreneurial prowess and leadership are nothing new to Jimmy.

Jimmy has lived in Central Florida for over 14 years and has been investing in (and vacationing on) beach front property for 10 years! A father of 3, Jimmy spends a great deal of his spare time playing trains and dress-up and hosing sand off of little feet.

Tim Astor
As a recent graduate of Florida State University School of Business with a major in Real Estate, Tim joined the Tate Investments Team in 2007. His interest in real estate is fueled by a family history of successes in this industry, primarily in Florida, that started several decades ago. Tim has learned the importance of prudent investing through participating in these family investments and decided very early on that he wanted to make career in this industry. He selected Florida State University as it is one of the few universities to offer an undergraduate program that specializes in Real Estate to further hone his skills. 

Tim brings a high level of energy, unquestionable values and a strong desire to see his clients prosper through thoughtful and sensible investing.

Kristen Tate
As a 14-year Cast Member with The Walt Disney Company, Kristen's background is in resort operations, Human Resources, and Leadership Development. A certified Executive Coach and holding a Professional of Human Resources certification, Kristen transitioned from leading "people processes" for an entertainment company to leading them for her family's company.

A graduate from the University of Missouri, Kristen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Radio & Television Communication.

Kristen brings sound business practices, operational processes, and a consultative approach to this intricate business. A mother of the "same 3", Kristen spends a great deal of her spare time at the playground, the soccer field, and Starbucks to keep it all going…

Roger Holt
Roger graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point in 1983 and served in the Army as a helicopter pilot for 10 years.  After leaving the military, Roger went to work for a General Contractor in the Orlando area. In December of 2002, Roger was hired by Wells Fargo as a Home Mortgage Consultant and was honored as the "Rookie of the Year" in 2003.  Currently, he has successfully closed over 800 loans and still considers the mortgage business an exciting, enjoyable career.

Wells Fargo is currently the only AAA rated bank in the country and has been the #1 Retail Lender for 13 years in a row! They have a broad base of products which include: Conventional, Jumbo, Construction to Perm, FHA, VA, 1st Time Homebuyer loans, and many more. Their office has an "alternative lending" department that helps people with low credit scores. Also, processing and underwriting at Wells Fargo is conducted in Maitland, FL. Wells Fargo has also teamed up with the #1 bestselling author and financial coach, David Bach, (as seen on the Oprah show) for The Great American Homeowner Challenge with a three-year goal of inspiring 10 million Americans to buy their first home, second home, or investment property.

Roger's diligence, dedication to his clients, perseverance, and strategic approach to gaining new business sets him apart in this field. He is professional, kind, and, above all, will warmly serve you through his relentless follow-through and trustworthiness.

Dave Torres
With over 5 years of experience in Residential and Commercial Financing, Dave has combined innovative programs with concierge service to help fulfill the goals and dreams of his clients. One of Dave's greatest assets is the ability to listen to his clients and then use that information to help steer them through the constantly shifting and dynamic process of real estate financing. Whatever your short and long term goals may be, Dave will first and foremost advise and educate, so that you, his client, will truly feel comfortable when it comes time to make that all important decision of engaging and closing on your real estate matter.

Dave's meticulous overview of your entire investment strategy allows him to recommend niche financing options that would be difficult to find elsewhere. Dave's sense of humor, personable approach, and genuine desire to get to 'know you' makes working with him a refreshing alternative to traditional business people.
